Leo Lausemaus: Bike Race

Mid-race: three riders strung out in single file along a grass track past a log cabin, chequered flags marking the course, Leo in the middle of the pack — The race.

The podium: Leo the mouse first with a gold medal and one arm raised, a rabbit second and a badger third, all three standing on wooden toy blocks numbered 1, 2 and 3 under falling confetti — The podium.

The toy-like game for kids was built at Flying Sheep Studios for the German children's series Leo Lausemaus, shipped inside the Toggolino app. Leo has to be kitted out before he can ride: helmet, lights, bell and knee pads get dragged onto him from a shelf that also holds a rubber duck, a teddy and a ball, and only the safety gear sticks. The race itself is a tap-to-pedal sprint down one of four tracks against two friends.
